How to find us
Our cottage is located just outside Carndonagh in Inishowen, County Donegal. We are only 35 minutes from Derry by car.
Get here by road
From Derry, follow signs for Moville and then Carndonagh. At Quigley’s Point, take the left turn onto the R240. This brings you stright into Carndonagh. We are 2km from the town centre.
It’s a bit tricky from there, but we are on Google Maps and the directions it gives are very good.

Get here by train/bus
The nearest train station is in Derry. Services from Belfast end here and are reasonably frequent. Belfast has connections to Dublin and beyond.
There are bus services from across Ireland to Derry, even the odd one continues to Carndonagh.
There are then buses from Derry to Carndonagh to finish your journey.
Get here by air
The nearest airport is City of Derry Airport. It’s 42 km from the centre of Carndonagh. There are flights to Derry from Edinburgh, Liverpool, London and Manchester.
Belfast International Airport and George Best Belfast City Airport are less than 2 hours drive from Carndonagh. Dublin Airport is about 3 and a half hours from us.
