Your holiday

A little bit of luxury

We offer you a luxury cottage holiday that lasts a weekend, 5 nights, a week - and any combination up to three weeks in length.

Every holiday includes one day of art tuition with Sinéad in the studio*.

If your holiday is longer than one week, each additional week or part-week will get you another day of tuition with Sinéad.
* you can, of course, just come to stay in the cottage - art tuition isn't compulsory :)

We host seven-day holidays throughout the year. Outside of the peak season, we also offer weekend and five-day stays. You can mix and match to suit.

All mod cons

Wifi on fibre network - although we can turn it off if you want to escape from it. There's a washing machine if you need to wash clothes and a well equipped kitchen.

Food & drink

Local pubs and restaurants in town 2km away and a host of other eat and drinkeries around Inishowen, Derry and beyond.

Spoil yourself!

We also offer bespoke packages, extra individual one-to-one art tuition and a selection of other services to ensure you have a unique Irish cottage experience.

Studio access

If you're here to paint, you will have access to the studio in the evenings. Sinéad also uses the studio, so you may be sharing it with her at times.

Art tuition

Tuition included for all holidays if you want it. If you prefer to kick back and relax, why not - there's loads to see and do nearby.

Warm and cosy

Wood burning stoves and central heating to keep you warm and toasty. Double glazing to keep out the wind and rain. We provide you with a basket of logs to get you going.

A good night's sleep

Really comfortable beds with all linen provided. A small, but perfectly formed shower room with clean towels.

A unique experience

The cottage dates back to the early 1800s and has been renovated using traditional lime materials.

We took advantage of the renovations to upgrade some aspects of the cottage to make it as cosy and comfortable as possible, whilst maintaining its character.

Our house is next door to the cottage, so we'll be neighbours during your stay. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy our garden which extends over three quarters of an acre and has been created with wildlife in mind, but with space to relax and absorb the sights and sounds.

How much does it cost?

We've tried to keep pricing as simple as possible. You book the entire cottage for your stay. It sleeps up to 4 people in two twin rooms. Every stay includes ONE DAY tuition with Sinéad.

The great outdoors

The weather in Donegal has been described in many ways! Whatever words you use, it can be wild and wet, but that's not always the case.

We have very long summer evenings, with darkness only descending around 11pm at midsummer. So when it's dry (and the sun may even shine), what better way to relax than sitting near the meadow, watching the bats or swallows flit against the sky, with a glass of whatever you enjoy and throwing an extra log onto the firepit.
