About

Family-run, self-catering holidays
We want to provide you with a memorable holiday in a beautiful and relatively unknown part of Ireland.
Inishowen is much less visited than elsewhere, but full of hidden treasures, secluded spots and dramatic coastline. There’s lots to do all year round, with the Wild Atlantic Way at your doorstep, the historic city of Derry but a short hop away and, if walking is your thing, enough coast and hill trails to wear out your walking boots!

Your hosts, Sinéad and Andy
Sinéad is a local artist with more than 20 years experience as an art tutor. She’s worked with The Turner Prize, The Thames Festival, The British Council and City of Culture over the years, along with countless children and adults.
Her works have been shown nationally and internationally. It is held in public and private collections globally.
Sinéad is the one who will spend time in the studio with you if you take up the offer of art tuition during your holiday.
Andy is a bit more ‘behind the scenes’, but is the one who bakes your welcome loaf of bread (yes, we welcome you with home-baking).
We both want you to have a wonderful experience here!

Environmental credentials
We are very conscious of the need to look after our world. Both of us come from a conservation background.
We aim to plant trees (we grow our own) for every visitor to our cottage, aware that trees will absorb carbon dioxide over their lifetime.
There is a septic tank in the garden and we have updated our system to clean waste water from the house and cottage to the highest standards.
We compost all our garden and kitchen waste to put back onto the garden and we grow as much food as we can to reduce food miles.
